Team Collaboration
To better understand the overall service, we started by identifying the process flow in a workshop, pinpointing potential pain points, and deciding on key focus areas. We concluded that enabling users to experience the benefits of continued use and ensuring meditation is accessible for beginners were essential goals. The entire team iterated ideas and refined them to achieve this vision.
Prototype Development
The ideas generated by the team were incorporated into the service flow, and we developed an app prototype for user testing. We worked closely with the client to ensure the features to be validated were clearly communicated and aligned with the user's needs.
User Feedback Collection
To validate the concept, we had target users test the prototype and provide feedback. Given that continued use in daily life is critical for ekkomi, we asked users to engage with the service over the course of a week, in addition to the initial interview, to gather comprehensive insights on their reactions and experiences.
Concept Refinement and Onboarding Video Production
Based on the user feedback from testing, we refined the service concept through ideation workshops to make the service even more user-centric. We also produced an onboarding video to help users understand the product and use it smoothly. This included planning, preparation, filming, and editing. The completed video was designed to appear the first time users launch the app.
Our Impact
After the workshops and user tests, we designed a concept better aligned with the target audience's needs, creating a North American-focused mindfulness app prototype. We gathered valuable feedback from North American users to further refine the service.
