Brief

One of Japan’s largest camera manufacturers and Dentsu, Japan’s top ad agency, sought out btrax to collaborate on developing a new breed of photo-sharing web app pushing the boundaries of HTML5.

Delivery

  • Organized key concept sessions to develop product features, design and voice
  • Conducted market research to pinpoint target demographic and determine user needs
  • Recruited and ran multiple focus groups from mobile photography influencers to dedicated amateurs to get in-depth feedback on prototypes
  • UI/UX design with iterations as the product feature set evolved
  • Developed English messaging and content for app
  • Promoted app via organic and paid social media
  • Organized live demo events including at SFnewtech and Apple’s flagship SF store
  • Designed logo and print collateral, including t-shirts and promotional flyers
